HYENA ... a doglike carnivore of Africa, southwestern Asia, and south central Asia, having a coarse coat, a sloping back, and large teeth and feeding chiefly on carrion, often in packs.

 

NYALA & DUIKER Also called: duikerbok  any small antelope  occurring throughout Africa south of the Sahara, having short straight backward-pointing horns, pointed hooves, and an arched back

                      

WILDEBEEST or GNU ... stocky, oxlike antelopes,  the silver-gray, white-bearded of the eastern African plain and the black, white-tailed of central Africa.

   

  WARTHOG .. African wild swine,  having large tusks and warty protrusions (bulges) on the face.

 

HIPPO REPRODUCTION - The teeth of this mount are real.  The rest of the animal was reproduced by texturing and painting over a Hippo form.  If you would see it close up, you would see all the little hairs they have throughout their body.

                                                                                           

SABLE One of the most impressive antelopes found in East Africa. Because of habitat destruction and poaching, it is also one of the most endangered. This Sable came from a US park, dying of natural causes.
